Update on Us...

Its been a few weeks, sorry, but here is a quick update on us!!

Kurtis started school, he loves his teacher, loves his classmates, and even loves homework. He is pretty serious when he does it and gets frustrated if he can not do it exactly right. Not sure where he gets that need for perfection from?? But it is really helping him to direct his energy and he ask questions/talks a lot more about things that happen during the day. He has really started singing his own songs (now that one I know where he got it from...his daddy...), whenever he plays with his trains he comes up with some new song. It is cute. He also sings to the baby and is getting ready to share mommy and daddy with a sibling. It is so sweet how he talks about things he will help with when the baby is born: her bath, helping to feed her just to name a few. He is really excited about Halloween and will try to wear his costume where ever he can.

Derick is BACK!!!! That is all I have to say...I have tried catching him with the camera in his uniform but so far no luck. I will keep trying! We love having him home to take care of the things that were getting too hard for mommy to do, as well as just having his wonderful personality that we missed! Kurtis is very very happy to say the least! He enjoys the time with his daddy to play GI Joe's, Super Heroes, Trains, Cars, reading, pretty much anything, he is just happy Daddy is home.

Amy is very very round, low, and ready to have the baby. We still do not have a name picked out, any girls names out there for suggestions would be fun to hear! Work is going well, other than that she is trying to help out around the house as much as possible. Thankfully, Derick got the crib up (among the MANY other things he has done!!) and preparations for the baby are almost done....
