It's A Groove Thing

When Sarah is fussy, there is only one type of music that soothes her and makes her happy- Rap and R&B. We found this out while in the car when she wasn't happy in her car seat. KDAY 93.5FM came to her aid and she just sat there and cooed. Ignorantly thinking it was ANY type of music that soothed, we turned the radio to rock music and she started crying harder than before. We quickly turned it back to hear Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back", and she was happier than ever. Then it was "Tootsie Roll". Through the past few weeks we found out that her favorite artists are Jay-Z and Beyonce, and she laughs at Kurtis when he dances. Some nights we play some Hip Hop and have dance battles in the living room. Kurtis has a few signature moves. His dad's special moves are the Robot and the Cabbage Patch!
