Since Kurtis has been able to talk he has always wanted a pet. He is an animal lover just like his father and grandma. So one wonderful Saturday morning when we were walking to the store there was a rescue shelter doing an adoption fair at the pet store. There was this beautiful black staffy bull (staffordshire bull terrier), we all immediately fell in love with him. We brought him home two days later, and he started to fit into our family quickly. Long story short, we found out Kurtis is allergic to pet dander and was having breathing issues because of the dog. Sadly, we had to find a new home for our doggie Jango. He is with a great family that is loving him as much as we did so we are very lucky! We took these photos the night before he left us.
Yes, I know what you are thinking, we took away his dog then what did we do. Well, we went to Chinatown and found two perfect turtles. The perfect pet for a child with allergies!!
Kurtis and Sarah love them very much and enjoy seeing them

I know just how Kurtis felt, I also am allergic to animal dandruff, just admire from afar.
